Physical Therapists
Physical Therapists help children in the following ways:
Physical developmental domain-Your child’s ability to master movement and balance as well as be able to interact with the world around them in various ways
Areas addressed may include:
· independent sitting
· gaining mobility-rolling, crawling, walking, running
· coordination for skipping, sliding, jumping, climbing
· improving balance
· gaining strength
· getting fit
· holding, exploring and playing with a variety of toys
· determining the need for adaptive equipment
